Martland Rollers
working with the paper industry.
Introduction:
An extensive range of rubber covered rolls are used throughout the paper making process. These rolls are primarily used in the de-watering, sizing, drying and calendaring processes, requiring a range of rubber compounds to provide chemical, temperature, abrasion & co-efficient of friction resistance properties along with hardness stability, dynamic properties, heat stability & low co-efficient of thermal expansion characteristics.
Press Section:
MARROCK (0-2 P & J)
- Can be used for hard press rolls
MARROCK II (0-2 P & J)
- Can be used for hard press rolls
MARPRESS I (12-45 P & J)
- For Press rolls and Suction Press rolls
- Temperatures, up to 140C
- Good chemical resistance, resistant to bleaching agents
MARPRESS II (12-45 P & J)
- For Press rolls and Suction Press rolls
- Temperatures, up to 120C
- Good abrasion & chemical resistance for moderate loads
MARPRESS III
- For Press rolls and Suction Press rolls
- Temperatures, up to 150C
- Excellent heat and chemical resistance combined with excellent abrasion resistance
Wet End Applications
Wire/Felt Guide Rolls
- MARROCK (0-2 P & J)
- Excellent abrasion resistance, low hysteresis and superior chemical resistance; the hardness stability enables is to outperform typical ebonite compounds even at higher operating temperature
Couch Rolls
- MARCOUCH I(30 – 40 P & J)
- Specially formulated for softer roll positions with excellent abrasion resistance, low hysteresis and superior chemical
Lumpbreaker
- MARBRAKE I (150 – 200 P & J)
- MARBRAKE II (150 – 200 P & J)
- Good resilience, non-stick and self-cleaning properties
Wet Lap Rollers
- MARLAP (8 – 10 P & J)
Breast Rollers
- MARBRUST I (5 – 99 P & J)
- Temperature Resistance 275C
- Excellent abrasion resistance, low hysteresis & superior chemical resistance enables them to outperform typical Nitrile compounds
- MARBRUST II (5 – 15 P & J)
- Temperature Resistance 325C
- Superior abrasion resistance, low hysteresis & superior chemical resistance; the compounds outstanding heat and chemical resistance allows it to outperform typical hard rubber compounds especially at higher operating temperatures.
Coating Rolls
MARCOATE I (15 – 90 P & J)
- Suitable for roller or blade applications
- Good all-round properties
MARCOAT II(15 – 90 P & J)
- To be used where traces of bleaching agents are likely to be present
- Excellent abrasion and chemical resistance
- Used for roller and blade applications
MARCOAT III (15 – 90 P & J)
- Outstanding mechanical and chemical properties
- Outstanding abrasion properties
- Used for roller and blade applications and other costing systems such as Symsizers
