Introduction

The rubber rolls are designed to squeeze water and or chemicals out of substrates, these applications include bleaching, dyeing, mercerising and slashing.  Roll coverings used in these applications must withstand the chemistry & temperatures; caustic is used in a majority of mills and most wet applications operating in a temperature range of 80 to 100C. Additionally the dynamic properties are crucial for the rollers to operate under high pressure and speeds and to be able to withstand elevated temperatures in the aqueous media.

 

Sizing

  • Developed for the squeeze rollers of the sizing bath on a sizing yarn line
  • The glass bead content combines perfect squeeze with a controlled application of size to the yarn
  • Chemical cost savings, controlled pick-up to enabling exact quantity of sizing chemical, eliminating excessive pick-up

  • Temperature 100C
  • Good for use in aggressive hot aqueous media. Outstanding hardness stability, abrasion resistance and resiliency.

  • For hard roll in squeezing operations. Resistant to textile additives, wetting & bleaching agents’ alkalis & acids
